To open up this year's Aries Season, we chat with the ever talented & lovely artist + jewelry maker Laura Conforti. Discover how this Muse of ours, who has her Sun in Aries, made use of her Aries Kit - featuring Carnelian, Clear Quartz, Ruby, and Selenite.

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hi there, I am Laura! A bold and ambitious head strong Aries driven by endless creativity! I started my business Laura Fatto A Mano as a healing journey. Why the Italian name you may ask?! Besides being raised by first generation Italian parents, I carry a large part of Florence within my heart!

What do crystals evoke for you & how do you connect with them in your line of work?

My work space is my haven. I love creating a beautiful energetically aligned environment for myself. This is key to allowing my creative juices to flow! Producing a graceful space includes placing my magnificent crystals around me, particularly my powerful Aries Kit stones! They always give off the exact kind of energy I need, allowing me to authentically express myself at all times.

Do you have a favourite crystal from your Aries Kit? 

My favourite crystal from my Aries Kit is the Carnelian! I absolutely love its shape and am very drawn to its colour! 

How do you stay grounded, as an entrepreneur and mother, managing life and work harmoniously?

I am constantly creating ... be it jewelry, paintings, sculptures, even food! I am always eager to set forth my newest creation! Having all these ideas constantly flowing through me can be overwhelming but my family quickly grounds me with very important questions such as, “what’s for dinner?”

What's your favourite self-care ritual?

As most working moms, I find myself with a never ending to do list. Trying to wear all the hats is not an easy task, which is why I start each day with quiet time to help set the intention for the day. I sit close to a window and, of course, bring along my precious crystals, focusing on my breathe and visualizing how I want the day’s events to unfold. At the end of the day, after the household has all gone to sleep, I like to draw myself a beautiful bubbly bath surrounded by candles and my beautiful Aries Kit Crystals. This is my gratitude bath, where I soak & reflect on all the wonderful things I am blessed with.
